Patriotic and Plus Size! Hot! Hot! Hot!

So,  I love wearing patriotic clothing, no matter the season. In fact, my favorite colors are red, white and blue. I know that the 4th of July has passed but I still like to wear red, white and blue all throughout the year. Afterall, I am American everyday and I like rocking stylish America day outfits.

But it's hard to find cute items while plus size. It's as if the fashion designers only want stick thin 20 year olds to represent our nation. So Labor Day is fast approaching and I needed something to wear to a barbeque that I am going to. I already have a very cute patriotic bathing suit but I wanted something to wear once the sun went down.

So, while I was searching, trying to find some cute America day outfits, I happened to find some super cute leggings that were just my style. They are super duper soft and were really affordable. So I ordered them and...

I love them. In fact, I ordered another pair just in case this one wore out quickly. They are so soft and definitely will fit anyone who is 1X or 2X (I wear 1X and I fluctuate between size 16-18 depending on my mood). I will definitely wear them in the evening when we are ready to go out and really celebrate Labor Day. They will definitely accentuate any America day outfits

I'm now on the quest for a great Halloween outfit that shows my love for America! I think these leggings will be a part of the outfit, but I’m looking for a trendy, sexy, patriotic costume to wear to the many parties.

The V Neck - Great for Summer for Plus Size Women

Okay, so I'm not a thin girl! News flash, many of us aren't. But that doesn't mean we have to walk around looking crazy this summer!

My friend turned me on to this black V Neck top:




The manufacturer So I am so in love with this V-neck top, which actually comes in 4x, 5x, 6x, and 7x! Rarely do you actually find a plus size 7x blouse. So I was looking around, trying to find it online (because my local store didn't have anything like it.) I also swore I would find it for an affordable price and I did on Amazon.

I guess they have it in a few colors but have only purchased it in black.

I don’t know about you but boxy dresses are so not my thing. I don’t understand why skinny girls get to wear shapely, trendy clothing and plus size girls are just stuck wearing boring, ugly clothes for those with curves. Since I am not stick thin, I need to find some clothing that fits my body structure.  And this is the reason why I continue to research and document fashion tips for women.

I love wearing dresses. However, if I venture into any other types of plus size clothing, the dresses can run a bit small for me. This is why I tend to mainly wear Torrid, Ashley Stewart or Lane Bryant dresses. However, I am always looking for other companies!

The clothing at these companies is very nice, but can be expensive. This is why I tend to purchase items from Torrid, Ashley Stewart or Lane Bryant on sale. I also look for deals online through sites such as eBay.
